Margaret Glatfelter
Margaret Glatfelter, an Advisor for Taksha’s Center for Integrative Medicine and Yoga (CIMY), is a Yoga Therapist and Energy Healer, and the Founder of the Lalitha Institute. To optimize results sought through the authentic traditional practices of Lalitha towards wholeness of body and mind, Margaret practices Vastu, the Vedic Science of Building. Vastu integrates structures with the forces of nature, creating a free flow of energy, and bringing peace, health, and harmony to all beings.Currently teaching, lecturing, consulting, writing, and producing meditation CDs, Margaret received her advance Yoga Teaching Certification through His Holiness Sri Swami Satchidananda of Integral Yoga, and her Yoga and Ayurveda Teaching Certification from Dr. David Frawley, Pandit Vamadeva Shastri. She holds credentials as a Pranic Healer, Usui and Karuna Reiki Master Instructor from the direct William Lee Rand lineage, and is a Certified Hypnotist through the National Guild of Hypnotists. In keeping with the Dhanur Vedas, she is also a Black Belt in the Martial Arts. Margaret is a University of Iowa honors alumna.
In 2009, Margaret met Pandit Rajmani Tigunait (PhD), spiritual head of the Himalayan Institute and successor to Swami Rama. She is now Panditji’s student, and has been welcomed into the tradition of the Himalayan Masters.
