Lida Papadopoulos, MD, MBA
Dr. Lida Kourita Papadopoulos, Chair of Taksha’s Center for Telemedicine and Medical Devices (CTMD) within the Taksha Institute for Science and Technology (TIST), also serves as an Advisor for Taksha’s Center for Medical Disaster Management (CMDM). With an MD from the University of Siena, Italy, as well as a Diploma and Certification in Child Health from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, Dr. Papadopoulos also has an EMBA from the Berkeley-Haas School of Business. She has participated in volunteer and fundraising efforts for children at risk and children with eye cancer, and coordinated front line medical response and relief efforts during a natural disaster in Genoa. She has a variety of management and leadership experience, as well as professional positions such as her current posts in telemedicine business development at Space Systems Corp. and at VP EMBA Haas Healthcare Association. Previous recent positions include work with the Child Obesity Business Strategy Development Group (Harrow Council, London); Pediatric Injury Prevention Group (Tower Hamlets), Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health Media Spokesperson (London), and Pediatric MD (Northwick Park University Hospital, London).
