TCA701: Introductory Film-Making
This multi-day training workshop is designed for any person interested in documentary film-making for personal or professional use – as an introduction to the basic skills, techniques, and equipment needed to produce a captivating, high-quality film of any type, through a step-by-step guide to all aspects of film-making:
- • basic equipment needs
- • effective and professional use of equipment
- • class-room lectures & off-site shooting
- • total script development
- • shooting the film with instructor’s “Six-Shot Method”
- • tools and techniques of editing using computer software
- • post-production analysis and editing
- • marketing your film to the public.
Each participant will plan, film, script, edit and produce her/his own short documentary, and a Certificate of Completion will be awarded to each participant at the end of the course.
